My Philosophy of Education

I believe that each child has unique talents, untapped abilities, and personal experiences that influence the way that they learn and grow. It is important to get to know these things about students. In that way I will tailor the curriculum to each student's personal learning style and make it applicable, and therefore memorable. To do this I will promote discussion, engage students with hands-on learning, assign student-led group projects, and incorporate out-of-the-box situations to help them learn life skills.

Brainstorming

My hope for students is that they move on to the next step of life ready to question, search for answers, and learn. Guiding students to develop intrinsic motivations, I will lead them towards the goal of being a fully functioning member of society. More than anything, I want my students to leave the classroom having grown in knowledge, as individuals, and in their relationship with Christ.
