Professional Development
I am currently at the beginning of this journey of professional growth as a leader. The first step in this journey is seeing and understanding the importance of growth in every aspect. Having completed my first two years of teaching, I took some time and sat back to evaluate my journey thus far. This has led me to come to an understanding and desire to grow on both a personal and professional. I currently am in the process of creating a professional development plan for myself to grow as a leader.

1. Self-Assessment
I am currently assessing myself on the qualities of leadership that I possess. There are some qualities I feel confident are at the highest level of professionalism and some that I am definitely novice at or just growing in. By continuing this self-assessment, I will be constantly checking inside myself to see if I am growing as a leader.
